Pantone Portraits (2014) is an ongoing series of deeply personal family images from the artists own archive of memories, which through digital manipulation, gives new reading to these personal artefacts. What was once a nostalgic image becomes entirely generic and computerised, deconstructing an image for its tonal and colour value, rather than personal assosiated narrative. These interventions speak to digital methods such as Photoshop and pantone colour spectrums, rather than nostalgic resonance.
