Confide In Me (2016-) is a series of ongoing image archives and videos appropriated from the deepest obscurities of Australian genre cinema. The work aims to explore identity, nationalism and culture through the ruptures, failures and slippages in linear narrative, continuity and symbolic meaning. These selected works address the dissemination of this cultural archive through the internet and online streaming services through various Australian signifiers and things that don't make much sense.
